Deck Treatments

Well Consumer Reports has started their bullying tactics again and may once more force this website off the air.  Go Here to read about their previous unjustified attack.

For now I'm removing my Deck Treatments article and referring you to other places where you can get the same information, albeit, less conveniently.  I think it's important that you know I did not mention Consumer Reports anywhere in my article.  Yet even that is not enough for them.  You must not say a particular deck seal is rated good if they also say it's rated good.  If you feel they're acting unreasonably and irresponsibly after reading the account of their 'giant guy uses gorilla tactics to squash tiny guy's attempt to help others' in the article referenced above write and tell them.

In the mean time here are places you can get similar information on Deck Treatments as was on this page before the latest attack.

I have to wonder why they've jumped on me and not some of those last three or four links above.  Those articles contain explicit references to Consumer Reports ratings -- something I haven't done since their last attack.  Could it be because I'm a retired individual who makes no money from my home repair advice and can't defend against their legal extortion while those other guys are companies who can afford lawyers to fight back.  Surely they wouldn't be that shabby?  If you want my opinion on deck treatments, write me.
